Election Reflection

This election is going to be an election that everybody will remember. America has never really seen an election like this. With the new president, Donald Trump, this country can go one of two ways. It can change for the better or it can go downhill more than it has already. I am kind of exited to see what Donald can do for our country. I feel like he could do a lot of good things because this country has not seen a president anything like Donald Trump. This also worries me a little bit because he might do something that could destroy this country. Overall, I think he will turn this country around for the better. Our country is too SOFT and I think we need a guy like Donald. Clinton has been involved in so many scandals and should really be in jail, so I’m glad Trump is our 45th President of the United States.

I think it was sad that there were so many people that disliked the candidates running for president. We need the mentality, “I’m going to vote for this person because I like his ideas”, not “I’m voting for this person because I’m scared the other candidate will destroy our county.” This is not how American should be ran.

Honestly, I’m not entirely sure what Donald is going to accomplish in office. Both Donald and Hillary never explained how they’re going to solve American’s problems; they just talked about all the problems America is going through. The other thing the two candidates did was bash each other. That’s basically all they did during the debates. Like nobody wants to vote for you if all you do is bring other people down. You’re running for president to find ways to make America a better country, and the people want to know what your plans are of doing so.

I really disagree with the voting system. They say that this country is for the people, but when we vote, the citizens never really get to vote for the president. It is based on electoral votes and not the popular vote. I kind of disagree with that because I think the people of the United States should get to decide who the president is because America is for the people.

1.       He has been very successful in the business industry. I think he will create a lot of job opportunities for all Americans.
2.       He is going to get rid of Obamacare.
3.       I think he will start a lot of conflict with other countries. I think his dirty mouth will get us into a lot of trouble.
4.       I do not believe that he will ever get a wall built to keep the Mexicans out of America. I definitely do not believe that Mexico is going to pay for it either. It doesn’t make sense why they would.
5.       I do think that he will find a way to keep out the majority of the refugees coming into our country.
6.       I also believe that he will lower the tax rates.
7.       I think that he could help reduce our national debt. I don’t think he will get rid of it completely, but he can help reduce it.
8.       I think he will help bring down college tuition costs. He sees that it’s a big problem and I think he can help reduce that as well.
9.       He will let Americans keep their guns because its supported in the 2nd Amendment.

10.   I think he will make America great again.
